I'm criticizing CG a lot but if players are impatient or doing weird approaches like buying packs first and then doing their refreshs then that's on them.
For Executor/Prof, the bonus tier refresh reset and event end were out of sync as well? I don't recall anyone waiting for the bonus tier refresh to save ~2k crystals for those events.
I don't remember for sure, but I don't think so, which is why I said it was probably a bug.
