I also have stopped buying gems until this is fixed. I have 7 toons at 100/100 shards and about 50-75 million needed to bring my 70 toons to 80. At a certain point the purchasing of credits (that was reasonable at 60) is no longer viable as 595 gems for 550k barely makes a dent. there needs to be an in game solution (such as above, scaling rewards is a great idea) and purchased credits need to be adjusted for inflation, as that is exactly what we are dealing with: a massively inflated currency where the value of that currency relative to the dollar is falling fast.
