I said both options. As for MK3, yeah I don't know what you use them for, I am always maxed out there. Besides the occasional zeta, I just never use them. I've got r8 mat through the roof with years of tw. And I rarely take characters to r9 if they're not needed for a gl. I just don't get how you can keep up with G13 gear otherwise. but okay, maybe it's just me. Would be nice if both options were available. As in MK2 and MK3 for those 2 mats.

So you rarely engage with relic levels above R7. Well, that explains a lot. All of it, really.
I've built R8/9 relic for the raid, for ROTE platoons, for utility, for fun. My latest R9 is GLAT (done yesterday). The Stranger (unlock on Jan 5th) will be my next R8.
If you are minimalist who only makes R8s or R9s if there's a Journey Guide requirement, I'm not surprised you never need mk3 raid tokens. As for gear, I have 7 toons left in my roster below G13 and one of them will have a dedicated LST in 2026, so I only need to gear up 6 of them and then I have no gear backlog forever. Anything else that comes out will be G13 the moment it hits my roster.
