The best skill is AOE at the moment. You can stun a few, ability block a few, but if you are against a wedge Biggs anakin Lando team someone is going to drop some pain on you. My ig88 has AOE AB. That doesn't do a lot when one AOE wrecks both IG units.
AOE is on the cusp of being obsolete... those wiggs/ landakin teams are incredibly easy to beat with a solid empire squad
