It seems there's not a chance in the world...
I've now witnessed for myself how bad the EA help in-game is. I'm sure it'll be a totally different experience if you couldn't buy something I bet😩.

Your experience will also be terrible. Support was good 5-6 years ago. They could solve problems or even send compensation for some bugs like freeze in GAC. Now they can't do anything but send you some nonsense text.

I got half my crystals back when the game freaked out and bought a useless ship pack I didn't click on and didn't even need since I already had the ship. I was told by EA support (in-game) they can refund half the crystals which I guess is better than nothing. However it took two weeks and 3 different support people to get this fulfilled. I had to remind them every few days. Up to you if you think it is worth the effort.
