Accountability

We are sick and tired of the cheating in this game. We have been pleading with you since shortly after this game first released to do something about it and you haven't. For those that think they can't instantly detect cheating, you are wrong. They can check thresholds on battles to see if they fall outside of norm. They could easily check damage and defense/resist ranges

They do the minimum to claim they've done something about it. Meanwhile, players who have been repeatedly reported for obvious cheating stay in the game. They have banned some Coliseum players with the latest "content" but only because it's obvious and it gives them a black eye on such a significant update as this. The players who try to get slick with cheating? Like the players I reported for having cleared tiers in Coliseum with less than a lvl 10 unit but then later level up their character to avoid detection? Yeah they get to stay. It's the same with GAC or TW cheaters who don't get too obvious with the cheating in order to avoid detection.

The big reason they don't have a steel clad cheat detection system is that they have to actually put people on it. This community has given these companies revenue into the multi-billions. Crying resource shortage is not an excuse.

Do something about it.

  • given they have a system that hard locks progress at fixed thresholds detecting something going over that should be incredibly easy

8 second battles should be able to be detected.  Buying things in the store repeatedly that are 1 time purchase or getting "free" items from inside folks who are mad at CG or EA, G8 Jawas beating R9 GL should be a huge easy to detect and program the system to flag these cheats.  If I can program my doors to alarm and play back the last 15 seconds of video showing who opened the doors or flag a specific area with AI Geo Fencing to alarm when the threshold is broken, it should be very easy for a tech gaming company to find cheats and ban them.  The issue is CG and EA negotiate with the cheaters because they want them in game to boost numbers and force others to spend money to compete.  Blizzard makes it simple, cheat get banned.  CG almost openly says come cheat in our game, we're pay to win and you're helping us get revenue.

  • So scrybe  posted a rant about this and he called out an account and it happened to be my alt that I stopped using. It's an odd name so I knew it was mine. My main and alt are allies so I checked and it said that alt had last logged in 171 days ago. Huh? So how is that account being used to hack the leader boards? No one is logging into it.
