Came close to winning once, then ever since they've blown me out.
Considering Tier V for Tarkin is SUPER easy, Tier V for Mace and Ackbar is ridiculously hard and all 3 need to be the same: all easy, all moderate or all hard. Pick one.
My plan for Mace's Tier V is to bring Rex's and Fives's ships to 5*s and then just continuously use taunt and protection up on Rex.
That's my plan too, it's just hard starring up ships you don't use while farming shards for those you do. I think most players like me have a couple strong DS ships and a couple strong LS ships. Nice for zeta challenge, not so good for capital ship challenges.
