So when 1/4 of their guild quits they lose out on hoth rewards too. Double whammy. Its kind of not nonsense for 65-75 mil gp guilds.
They never could have gotten GTB rewards but will now lose a bunch of hoth rewards..... thats a valid claim.
Cap prevents whining but creates a whole new actual problem that creates more whining.
Honestly IMO CG would have been better off dealing with the whining that a guild chose GTB (bad decision on their part) and lost out on hoth rewards. Its much better than dealing with guild killing that takes away those hoth rewards as well.
Guild makes dumb decision to try GTB and regrets it you can deal with
Company policy that hurts guilds and ends up leaving them with less hoth rewards due to guild destruction is much worse.
Real question is does this effect enough guilds to cause an actual problem.... that I cant say. I do doubut CG would care about 50-100 guilds being destroyed..... now if it was a few thousand.....
Truth be told HSTR destroyed 60-80% of our guild but worked hard to bring in the people leaving other destroyed guilds now we are top 200 TW guild smoking everything.
Best suggestions anyone can make is if you have a tight group of people keep em together and find a merge work at it..... who cares if guild name changes or you dont get to be an officer for 5 months yu will still have your friends and end up in a MUCH better situation
Exactly. Guilds that are close to 80 million are actually going to be the ones hurt the most. They won't get to attempt GTB at all and they won't be able to work towards the 80 million requirement because their members are going to seek out guilds that already broach the 80 million mark. Sure it won't happen to all of them, but I'd bet cold hard cash the vast majority of 50-79 million GP guilds lose players because of this. And that's exactly counterproductive to CG's so-called reasoning behind the 80 million requirement. We don't need a freaking nanny telling us not to try something because it's too hard. Let us try. If we fail, so be it. Then we don't get rewards. If you don't let us try, as you mentioned Dk_rek, we still lose rewards because our guild falls apart and we can't get as far in Hoth TB anymore anyway. It's lose/lose all because they think we're stupid and need to be protected from ourselves. I knew they were in California, but didn't think they'd bring socialism into the game.
Now logic is socialism.
What's the difference between, letting people in even if they lose with less then 80mil and not letting them in, because the don't have the gp they need anyways?
I tell you. People start sep TB, don't beat it and get ****.
Now, with restrictions, only a few post unreasonable, useless stuff.
Correct less people will post about making bad decision to play geno
But WAY more people will straight up be spamming BIG time everywhere about month after month of getting Less rewards than they used to cause guild broke up...
So no matter what things stay kind of the same or get worse not mich logic in that.
Best solition is to let you play both.... then everyone has a choice.... feel burned out only contribute in one TB..... choice... people who want and can play both can.... choice....
The everything in game is a choice people harp on everything is a choice until it does not fit a specific narrative then “choice” becomes something else....
