This will only happen after about 12 hours so people who logged in can claim and collect and spend the rewards while everyone else who didnt claim them will have the rewards deducted from their current balance.

The result is a net zero effect for CG....

some people get rewards while others lose rewards so it costs CG nothing in the end... another financial victory they can claim.
