Anniversary???
Did I miss something, I thought we'd hear about the anniversary plan or hints at least by now....

it can be taken as an insult.
It can be, but why? There are always new players joining the game & those things are useful to them.
Also, Clone Wars Chewie shards might be "junk" but I'd be disappointed if I didn't get some around anniversary time. They took that junk & made it into an inside joke for the long-timers (while the newbs still need those shards, so everyone wins). Which is to say, even something that starts as junk won't necessarily stay that way.
