Anniversary???

There is a thread pinned about “favorite moments of the first 5 years”. It acknowledges the fact that the game anniversary is coming up.

I suspect you’re looking for information specifically about how that anniversary will be “celebrated” in game and what kind of gifts we will be getting to celebrate.
No information about that yet (that I’ve seen) but these things typically stay secret/under wraps until the last minute.

I guess in the spirit of celebrating the anniversary, it’s like giving a gift to your spouse. You don’t usually announce the surprise gift you got for them in advance, right?

They have don’t something for every anniversary so far so I don’t doubt that there will be something this year too.

Anyone who thinks the rewards would be nothing more than 3 CwC shards is just looking to be upset without paying attention to reality.

Does everyone posting complaints also ask all of their friends and family what they're buying them for Christmas weeks ahead of time?

There are some things to complain about (or ask about) with this game. This isn't one that's anywhere near the top of the list.

Only when those same friend and family brag about how great of a gift it is going to be. Then I might start to probe.

I never said that....my comment was in reference to the prior post. CG DID brag about how great this 5 years anniversary celebration is going to be. Therefore I would probe a little (about the celebration) since they bragged about it so much.

At this point I don't expect anything from CG other than fun, interesting, re-playable content.
