Anyone else experiencing this?

Question

Earlier tonight at the end of a gac battle, the game started lagging and processing things extremely slowly to the point where it is borderline unplayable. It has been about five hours since then, and I have tried force-stopping the swgoh app, clearing the cache, and restarting my phone multiple times, each with no difference. Keep in mind I got this phone last Christmas, so hasn't even been a full year yet. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, and if so, is there any way to actually solve this problem?

I'd check your storage. I remember my game started acting really slow and eventually did a startup error loop when I was near full. Hope thats the case!

If you're on Android there's been a lot of slowdown reported with the 9.0 UI update that dropped a couple of days ago. There's a temp workaround of minimizing/tabbing out of the app and hopping right back in.

Yep reported the same thing in a post I started, it almost appears to be a memory leak in the app. My memory usage got bonkers with it.

Yeah im on android so you're probably right with the issue being the new update. It started the day after I updated my phone so that's mostly likely the issue.
