When I first read about the mechanics, I actually thought it looked very interesting. Not relying on TMR or getting the expose train rolling, seemed like it would make the raid a different experience and have you think about strategy and using the raid-specific abilities correctly. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out like that and it pretty much just boils down to 'what toon can hit the hardest' since most synergies and way too many abilities are rendered completely useless. Top that off with a crazy amount of health on the bosses and it quickly becomes a tedious grind :(
The hype was actually quite high in my fairly casual guild. We abandoned our first attempt and went for a tier lower(perfectly fine with that for new end-game content) and are now on the second go at it.
The hype/enthusiasm, however, is utterly gone and getting people to actively participate will likely be tough going forward. After seeing the rewards I feel exactly the same disappointment and can't see myself putting much of an effort into trying to improve.
