Are Galactic Gear Packs worth it?

I farmed crystals for about 4 days and I have 549/599 crystals, and I’m in desperate need of gear, and the pack seems like it has all gear I need. Should I farm these or what should I use my crystals ...

Depends on your level of need. I've found them to be pretty decent - you won't get everything you need but about half the gear you'll need and if you're gearing multiple toons it's a pretty good deal relative to the individual gear you get in the shop
