I think they need to fix the ladder jumping.
At the very least change it so that single steps actually start at rank 10. Right now, rank 11 can challenge rank 2 where as ranks 10 through 6 cannot. How do you have a system where rank 11 is equivelant to rank 5 and better than all the ranks in between.
It seems relatively easy to just make it so you get single step advancement as soon as your close enough to challenge anyone in the top 10.
Additionally, given how competitive the top 5-10 has become on older servers, push the single step advancement back from 10 to 20 while still implementing a fix so that it is actually single step advancement

- Rank 10-1 are unchanged and continue to have the current single step challenges
- Rank 11 would be able to challenge 10,9,8
- Rank 12 would be able to challenge 11/10, 9, 8
- Rank 13 has 12/11/10, 9, 8
