Arena is dull and boring

My win/loss ratio has not changed after update so please don't think that's what I'm here to talk about.
My biggest complaint, besides the unfair nerfing of anakin and fotp, is that arena experience has became dull. You can literally pick up any decent toons and beat any team.

I'll be honest, I'm not a whale, I've spent around $1400 to collect great characters but to also gain an advantage. The advantage the spenders had, and there was a little one before update, is now gone.
If this was their intention for the last update, then that's fine, but I don't feel the need to spend anymore.
You're not encouraging spending when you even out the playing field. Instead, you alienate spenders and we get bored.
But hey!, guilds are kinda cool!. ( still won't be spending).

    Ah, yes. This is probably a big factor. America is stupid expensive. A family can pay $1000+ a month just for medical insurance coverage plus addition deductible when you actually have to go to the doctor. A lot of other costs don't exist in EU as well.

    You said you want an advantage over F2P and feel you don't have it. Except that you do. Maybe not over 100% of F2P but you do over most. You have more teams to choose from and can gear them faster. What kind of advantage were you looking for that wouldn't make arena dull?

    Hence levelling out the playing field, this does not encourage spending for anyone.

    You're right, you can. Their are very few locked toons behind the packs. But F2P players have to spend a fair amount of time grinding those toons while payers have much quicker access. For example, I'm 100% F2P. I finish in the top 50 most days. But I focused on PvP. As a result, I'm well behind on Dark Side battles (my dark side bench is very small) and currently can't gear some of my guys, and I've so far missed all but 1 day's worth of the Omega event due to not having enough toons required to even do the first part. I also still don't have my Yoda as grinding out my 5th Jedi is taking time. It's stuff like that that P2P players have an advantage over F2P players.
