People complaining about sniping is strange. What makes people think they are entitled to the top spots? Sniping is part of the game, so I've accepted that it could happen to me. The only thing in the arena that really annoys me is the dumb refresh button hiding potential opponents.
It's not an entitlement issue, at least for me. It's a design issue. Admittedly this is the only mobile game I've played, but I've played a LOT of competitive games at a very high level, and none use this kind of counterproductive ranking system.
Again, the current system makes scheduling maintenance difficult, prevents players form playing when they want, inconveniences players with forced play timing, and encourages playing the clock rather than the game, among other issues.
