Asajj is a great character out of Clone Wars!!
She was Dookus Assassin (like others already told), but never a Sith. When she left Dooku (because she became too powerful and Sid wanted Dooku to kill her), she returned to the nightsisters, the tag, she currently has in game. After Grievous whipped out the nightsisters, she became a bounty hunter (scoundrel).
IMO she is not even 100% dark side, because she rescued a lil girl from a forced marriage, helped Obi Wan to escape from Maul and Savage and helped Snips to find the traitor.
Too bad, Disney canceled CloneWars series just because of transmission rights ... :( i would love to know, what happened to her.
