No, you should consider yourself lucky: you has less than 0,4% chance for that to happen

I can't really say with certainty but I know sometimes I might sim say 12 battles and get 1 shard then the next 12 I sim I might get 5. So unlucky streaks do happen and usually the game does seem to balance itself out.

If you are concerned maybe screenshot and make notes.

Happened to me before. 300 energy no shards. I've also been lucky enough to experience the other way, something like 7 shards on a 10 sim, but that's only happened once while the former maybe 2 or 3 times.

I like to sim in 3's, just mentally I feel like I get better drop rates, usually 1 per 3 sims which falls in line with their information. I might try to study my drops for a few weeks to see the results but that's a lot of work for not much benefit.

Didn't they just pass a new law in China a couple months ago so all mobile gaming companies have to give out the exact chance for any RNG aspect of their game? I would love to know if anyone has found this information and could give us a link or something to it, hopefully with a translation if it's in Chinese. That would not only stop people from asking these questions because they got super shafted on gear one time(I'd be mad too if roughly 300 energy turned into nothing), but then we would all know the chance for things to drop, which is really what we've always wanted, right?

And of course it would be much more reputable information since it's a law, rather than someone getting to decide what information to tell the public and what to leave out.

The law only applies to purchase with real money and not in-game currency. That is also why, all money purchases in swgoh and other games a like, give you a fixed amount, while having rng on items bought via in-game currency

It's also worth noting that several people and entire guilds have carefully tracked the data for character shard drop rates. They are 33% over any significant sample size. This is yrue regardless of node, energy type, whether or not you sim 1, 3 or 15 at a time - even without regard to double drops being active.

Rest assured that tyrought the 22 months, whenever character shard drop rates are tracked, they have always been right around 33%.

I got totally lucky, suspiciously lucky even. First there are those 500 crystals we got because of bugs that totally paid for my double drop days refreshes. I needed around 60 shards and got them after three double drop days of farming and two full nodes refreshes, one on day one a second on day two. Also, RNG was decisively (suspiciously?) kind with me with several 6 or even 8 shards dropping out of 5 draws so now I'm finally over with FO shard farming.

But boy, that was awfully long to achieve... I have started months ago to actively farm FOTP and FOST and that's just too long. I'm happy the pilot is available in the fleet shop now, that will help everyone. I wish the stormtrooper is too as he is needed as a pilot for Kylo's shuttle. Please CG, do something about it.

the law aplies to purchase with in game currency when this currency is bought by real money. This law is in China and Japan.
