Baylan Initial Performance
I try and stay overtly positive towards this game, hence the reason why I play. With the announcement of Baylan Skoll and loving his character and Ray as an actor I decided to whale for the first time on this. So I’m sure this issue doesn’t affect many as of right now but some things just with some kits just can’t be seen on paper right away. The main core of Baylans kit is locked behind his omicrons and datacron. In squad arena testing his performance is lacking severely for being the newest epic confrontation unit. I understand grand arena will look different but I think it should be common for a character’s power to be determined in any game mode with omicrons boosting that power, not holding it. This is not a dig at CG or any dev, I appreciate their work on keeping this game strong for 9 years for us all. Just things like him not being able to taunt at the start of battle without an omicron is crazy to me. So this post is nothing more than trying to bring awareness to an extremely lacking early non-omicron baylan performance and hoping to see change with how omicroned abilities are structured moving forward.
