Be Brave!

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is admit you got it wrong. This game has been great fun and I’ve played it since a couple of weeks of its inception. I’m founding member of great guild, with smart, motivated friendly members.
I still love arena, TW, TB and building my roster (over 3 mill GP).

However the Sith raid is a disaster. I can only speak from my personal perspective as senior member of a former go get em guild. Trying to get members to participate in a deeply unpleasant raid format that is supposed to be fun, ( not death by a thousand cuts) is futile.
This is bad timing in the extreme, with the advent of the marvel copycat that already a fifth of my guild spending more time on than SWGOH.

Raid needs to be completely redesigned, it needs to be fun, consistent and motivating. I say this as a person who doesn’t want game to disappear.

And the only strategy that works in HAAT and also in Sith raid is JTREy

    This makes no sense.

You want a really fun (and powerful) P4 team, try this --- zAV (L), Talia, Daka, Chirrut, and Zombie. If you can soothe Bonds of Weakness often enough you can do many millions of damage. Also, subbing Visas Mar for Zombie can get you in a state where you can solo the DN part of P4. It's very tricky, but Chirrut's special and Visas's assists keep healing the NS to full health, giving unlimited turns. The only thing that stops you is that Daka's double hit will eventually hit DS enough to get to enrage. Talia should have lowest max health in this scenario, to get Visas's health assists.

Acolyte needs a place on this team, under zAV leader she goes over and over and over.

The only strategy for STR P1 is JTR is more accurate. HAAT has strategies for each phase: Zylo/CLS, zFinn, Chirpatine, zFinn again.

Even that doesn't make sense, as in there's lots of teams that work in HAAT and you only listed a few as if they're the only ones that work for each phase.

Guys love the fact you’re discussing raid , however my points are being ignored, it’s killing the game

It's not killing the game. Your points aren't being ignored, they are being disagreed with - there's a difference.

Some players/guilds said the exact same when the HAAT dropped...and yet, miraculously, the game survived, guilds survived and people figured out how to beat it. Just like they are now with the Sith raid.

Dev intention was not to make raid, where same teams and strategies as in HAAT work.
Because then everyone, who farms haat, would instantly succeed which would be .. lame...

And IMO they succeeded. Only JTRey is repeated strat.
    Otherwise in HSTR, there are:
    Sabine & Pathfinder
    Phoenix (finally useful)
    Chex Mex (new)
    ZVentress (new)
    ...

No 100% reuses other than JTRey resistance...
  • You know what else works in STR outside of p1? FO. No reliance on debuffs or TMR, just pure TMG and damage.
  • The first thing to remember is that this raid is all about teams and coordination. For a guild to have any hope of finishing heroic, it must first have a full 50 members. Second, those members must have certain toons at max level, including zetas. Finally, each member needs to be assigned to a specific phase based on teams that the can deploy.

The thing is that this raid is completely different from the other two. In the other two, a couple of strong players could carry a guild through and everyone who at least participated would get Han/Kenobi shards. Not happening here. No one (or handful of players) is going to carry a guild through this raid.

This raid is essentially a reward for big time guilds whose members are all in. If you're not competing in heroic, I would suggest getting together with your guild members and coordinate and assign your attacks.

It's challenging now, but just think of that sense of accomplishment you'll feel when you get your first Traya shard.

Yes, that all consuming "feeling of accomplishment" EA is so famous for. We should all be grateful to the devs for giving us this opportunity to feel so accomplished.
