I'd like to see some of the old school characters, like Slave Leia, or Nien Numb(sp?). Luke in x-wing pilot suit, Dagobah Luke, Endor Luke(only time we see him in that is the speeder bike raid), maybe a GL Thrawn, or even some of the other clone troopers, RED 5 squadron or Luke's swing, not sure how they would do this one but i think the AT-AT would be pretty cool to add

With Slave Leia, have her wield a force pike like she does in Masters of Teräs Käsi, as well as utilizing her chain for some attacks.
As for AT-AT, unlike the STAP it'd be too large and already some characters like Veers and Starck use AT-AT blasts as attacks to compensate for this. Instead, a vehicle battle mode similar to ship battles could be implemented introducing playable AT-ATs as well as other ground and atmospheric-based vehicles.
Maybe add a hoth raid where you drive an AT-AT blasting rebels? Doesn’t sound like SWGOH.
So good ideas aside from slave leia. CG won't do a slave leia or midriff padme as a character. Neinub yes but I'd pair him with general lando as Lando being a Legendary and then getting dishless millennium falcon from return to boost up home one. Pilot like has been asked for, since beginning of game. Idk if we will see him and his xwing. I'm sure cg will make a 3v3 omi for him with wedge and biggs. I'm up for a GL thrawn but he needs a new look not the Grey suit even though I think that'd be admiral or captain thrawn. Have his real name as the GL though not the thrawn name. Yes we need more clone troopers. I'm sure next year we will get more thanks to both republic commando and revenge of the sith being 20th anniversary. Thing is idk if they would do a GL from those unless maybe a speculated thrawn will fill that. Since the big 2 of anakin/vader and obi are done. Unless we get a senator amidala with one of her clone wars looks before pregnancy. I can see her leading non jedi galactic republic. New place for padme. Maybe also from time to time pulls CAT!

If it's because of their midriffs being exposed, we already have Aayla Secura and Darth Talon in the game with exposed areas.
With Slave Leia it's out of respect for Carrie Fischer who spoke out publicly about the problems she had with the character's slave costume and how it was later used.
I don't know about Padmé, but I can tell you that on the old forums before we got Padmé the people who were advocating for a bare midriff used a lot of sexist language that, I think, ultimately didn't help their cause. If you want everyone to think that this is a perfectly fine way to portray the character in SWGOH, they probably shouldn't have made degrading/objectifying comments on the SWGOH forums. Ultimately it probably didn't come down to those comments in CG's decision making, but there's no way that went over well.
Personally I'm resolutely opposed to Slave Leia, and while I wasn't automatically opposed to ripped-costume Padmé, I turned against that idea pretty hard reading those old forum posts.
I think instead of adding new characters CG should be fixing old characters like cad bane, the Jedi masters, darth maul, and a few of the old rebels. Some of the older characters have become useless because their abilities are boring and they don’t synergy with the new powerful characters. And, despite this being a frequently discussed topic, I still wanna say that CG should make Darth Vader more powerful. Tweak his abilities or add a new unique or something.
Vader really is powerful. I get tremendous use out of him.
In general I agree with many pre-Kyro characters being boring and useless. The things that I would most like to see are in this order:
Definitely more playable beasts or monsters like a Gundark, Massiff or Embo's companion Marrok. You could also have characters like Malakili and K-9X1 which have beast tamer-like synergies.
I'm all for Noghri, but I wonder how they'd appear because their design in Canon and Legends are somewhat different.
I like this idea... rework some of the older characters to make them a little more relevant.
I would definitely like to see red 5 come to the game and I hope you guys add some sith like Darth plagueis, exar kun, darth caedus, Darth tenebrous, Darth traya. And some more Jedi like eeth koth, depa billaba (who we only see in the bad batch) and most likely some more stormtroopers like terror troopers, shock troopers, storm commandos, shadow guards, space troopers, shadow Evo troopers, and some special troopers called cuis clones (which are literally storm troopers created with the same genomes of sa cuis a dark Jedi who served as one of Emperor Palpatine's personal assassins) and that's it to see some of them get added to the game would be very cool and I think my cousin would agree thanks a lot if you get some time to read this☺️

Someone in my guild recently saw a video from Scrybe that GL Thrawn was leaked, allegedly due to someone messing up when writing why Marrok doesn't have certain tags.

I'd also like Holdo and RH Poe to get leader abilities. She was a renowned leader and he was taught to be a leader. Plus Holdo is the only capital ship pilot without a leader ability.
It could also be neat to add podracing to the game. Make it similar to node battles where it's a solo mode (for now) and you can collect the pods and racers for gear and such.
Rick the door technician would be a great lifter for the imperial troopers faction providing massive damage attacks and quick healing abilities. Make him a tank,
I know it's wishful thinking, but it would be cool if they added Captain Rex or RX-24 and the StarSpeeder 3000 from Star Tours to the game. He and his ship could be a support class for the Light Side. He could synergize with the Galactic Republic, Rebels, and Resistance. Speaking of his ship they can replace R2-D2 with a random astromech.
