Best Ship group for Ackbar Capital Ship

What are you guys seeing for a solid group of ships under Ackbar??
  • I love jedi consular ship in this game. It's awesome. And plokoons is so useful. Also a big fan of the reinforcements dimension. Like how iIkeep plo there until iIneed somone taunting and healed up a bit .

    But you didn't list Fives in that fleet ("Biggs, wedge, Plo, JC, Ahsoka"); if he's in reinforcements, why is Plo out at the start of the fight? Under Ackbar, it makes a little more sense to have Fives in for Biggs to start because Plo is the 6th fastest ship in the game and should be able to drop a taunt on Fives before you take too much damage. Then Biggs comes in from reinforcements with Advantage, uses his basic, and activates Taunt.

  • My main problem with Biggs is that his potency seems low, so even on a guaranteed crit, his target lock and taunt is far from a sure thing. It's really irritating and making me think of dropping him and farming someone else. My problem is that I don't have plo koon.

    I'm curious who you drop Plo's taunt on - since Biggs isn't Republic he doesn't get the 65% protection up, and the only target lock generation you have is Biggs on a crit. While JC will recover a bit of Biggs' protection, doesn't seem like Biggs would make it out of round 1-2 very often.



    I was using Plo's taunt on himself, and using JCs assist with PLO for the protection-up. Usually by the time PLO dies, I'll get Biggs to taunt... and if not, I call FOTP in for reinforcements, with a great chance to activate Biggs' taunt. I originally started with FOTP instead of PLO in opening line-up, but found he was targeted and defeated way too quickly, and had better success using FOTP as a reinforcement.

    However, I've come into a rash of bugs with both Plo and Ahsoka lately. Plo stopped granted speed up, his taunt has failed, and Ahsoka doesn't seem to grant herself offense up anymore. Lately I have take Plo out entirely and used GS for all the assist bonuses, and it seems to be a stronger team.

    As to your actual response, I don't have Plo's or Ahsoka's ships unlocked so I can't attest to those problems. I can say, however, that FOTP does tend to get shot down 1st or 2nd most times by the AI, which is why a speedy taunt is desired (FOTP/TFP's target lock for Biggs, Plo onto Fives/Rex/CS).
