Take a penny. Flip it. What are the odds of it landing tails? 50 % thats your RNG for flipping a coin. You flip the coin 9 times. Lets say it lands tails all 9 times. You flip it a 10th time. What are the odds that its tails that tenth time? Really low rightf. Put a bet on it right?
Wrong. Its still 50% the penny doesnt care whats happened in the past. Its 1 flip with 2 possible outcomes.
I don't think this is true. The greater the sample size (repetition), the more likely the results from two sets with the same odds will even out. And three months is nearly 100 repetitions.
I think far more likely is that newer account have a better rate than older accounts. This would make sense from a business perspective because you need to find a way to maintain a population of end game players despite attrition. Without an accelerated curve for newer players you would end up with a very small pool of endgamers. And I have seen that same pattern happen in other games as they mature.
