In answer to everyone asking why is it an issue. It's not an issue, like I said I don't care about the pack, I'm not bitter about the pack, it's free, who cares, but it's useless stuff. Just why are you all so thankful? Why do I have to be? Do you not realise the shards are worthless? This should mean nothing to you.

1. Actually, it's a massive mistake if you are interested in maxing what you can do like most are. Gear is THE resource. It's the biggest mistake you can make. If you like mob enforcer, go ahead, but he won't be a good asset to you.
2. No one likes bistan. The film is just coming out.

Let me break this down for you.
1. All characters are completely useless unless you gear them.
2. Gearing bistan would be a terrible waste of your gear. Don't do it, not even g2, and don't even star him unless you need some rancor fodder.

Now, given everyone is soooo thankful for the pack, I am asking, why be thankful for something useless? I don't care about just having enough shards to 7* someone I can never use. I want characters to actually play this game with. Why does just having some shards matter.
If you guys wouldn't be so short sighted, you would see that the issue isn't so much that I'm complaining about the pack like you all seem to think, I'm just saying the shards are completely useless, but it's more about the gear. The pack wouldn't be useless if I could actually use bistan, but no f2p should consider gearing him.
IM SUPPOSEDLY BEING GIVEN A 7* CHARACTER? ABSOLUTELY NOT. And I'm ungrateful about it? No. I haven't been given any character, or anything of value. There is nothing to be grateful for. No character is usable until g10, gear is THE resource in this game, the shards alone mean nothing. I'm not being given a 7* character, I'm being given his shards, if I could actually use him I'd be grateful for the 7* character I can use, but as it is I'm being given nothing, I wonder why you can't see this.
I'd be very happy if I was actually being given a free character I could play with. As f2p I only have about 10 ffs, and I'm bored with them. But you are certainly not being given a free character. It will cost you a lot of your gear you need for others as f2p, or around £40 to gear him. You are not being given a free character.
So, the pack is useless. So I don't care about it. So why should I be grateful for it if it has zero use? There is no reason, sorry. Give me gear or nothing else.
Now, if you could stop insults and realise you have not been given anything of any value maybe you will see that there is no reason to be grateful for anything about the pack. I don't hate the pack, I don't care about the F'ing pack, I DONT EVEN WANT ANY FREE STUFF, I just realise that it's worthless, and don't understand why you are all so happy about it and don't see it's worthless. Stop being so moany about my moaning (constant irony/hypocrisy on here)
While I agree it's not quite the "gift" people seem to think it is, it's still something. A real gift would've been at least the credits it's gonna take to level, star, gear, and mod either char. Because there's the rub, EA is adding to your credit & gear crunch and people thank them. But I guess technically it's something, don't think EA hadn't planned on ppl using crystals to gear, star, level, and mod these "free" toons. This was not done out of generosity, they expect a return, and they'll get one.
