I wonder if Luke will hear of the shenanigans happening on his home planet and decide to get involved? A battle featuring him, Mando, Ahsoka, Boba, Fennec, and crew would be pretty epic.
New gac synergy? Waiting for the Rando tag. - LordDirt3 years agoSeasoned AceFunny how so many people didnt like the first few episodes of BoB but once they went full fan service thise people love it. SW is doomed to never progress only show things we already have had for 40 years.

I mean the previous episode had no fan service, it was just a good well-written episode
I have a lot of gripes with the first few episodes of Book of Boba, which includes pacing, and how disappointing Boba is as a character, and some of the action scenes involving him were pretty bad (him vs 4 shield assassins, and his battle with BK)
Also, the whole power rangers thing is so weird and out of place
I like new things (like mando) but if its well-written or the episode is entertaining
I did like the whole train spice dilemma they had in a flashback in one of the earlier episodes for example - Overall, I thought this episode was pretty good.
We got to see Luke training Grogu, Cobb Vanth and Ahsoka are back, Cad Bane is part of the show now, and the battle between the Pykes and Boba & Friends seems imminent.
Also wondering if we get to find out what Grogu chooses next episode. - Wrathrider433 years agoRising AceI really enjoyed this episode!
Seeing R2 and Ashoka are always welcome.
I was hoping we would get a clue to who rescued Grogu from Order 66, but I get they want to save that for a bigger moment. Which leads me to believe either Luke or Ashoka will show us that later in Mando. So that means Grogu won't be completely cut off from the Jedi, maybe Luke has a change of heart later on?
The bombing scene seemed strange. I'd have to imagine everyone would be on high alert for the Pyke's by now, especially carrying a bomb shaped object...
As soon as I saw the shoes I knew it was Cad! Bringing him in is really cool! The colour was off, but same with Ashoka there is some challenges going from animated to real life, still looked great though!
I knew the deputy was going to die instead of Cobb. Cad is sending a message and it would be weird to write Cobb off so soon. - templarphoenix3 years agoSeasoned AceBoba's team seems very outnumbered...having a single gamguard at the hangar.
Boba
Fennec
Din
BK
2 gamguard
Vespa gang (5 or 6)
Cobb vanth and Freetown ppl (may decide not to involve this because of cad bane)
Tusken weapon master (if he/she survives)
Who else can we expect? Omega? - tward9303 years agoNew Spectator

Never realized Mando and Cad Bane have been around for 40 years now. Damn time flies. - tward9303 years agoNew Spectator

The bombing scene reminded me a bit of the Untouchables. - TargetEadu3 years agoSeasoned Ace

Tossing Omega in would be… that would be strange. I want her to meet ‘Alpha’ at some point, but preferably not before they really flesh out her character and flesh out what exactly she (and the other Bad Batch) have been doing the last 20-30 years. I can’t see them showing up without it feeling a lot like “Somehow Palpatine returned”.
I do hope Boba gets the Tuskens to help in the war. That would be a good way to stay true to the arc they’re making with him. I also hope we get to see Boba go a bit wild. And it doesn’t seem like the Pykes have many “threats” on their side besides Cad - there’s a lot of them, but Mando, Fennec, and Boba can all handle a lot of Stormtroopers.
Although I am worried about Fennec. On one hand, Cad might kill her. On the other… her loyalty to Boba doesn’t seem as strong as he thinks. - winterwolves3 years agoSeasoned Ace

The "bomb shaped object" was the exact same item we saw full of credits during the deal with Cobb Vanth breaking it up. So obviously a pretty generic carryall type innocuous object. It was quite the declaration of war from the pykes, I thought.
The silhouette with the hat in the desert said Cad Bane to me.
