- Mediocre episode. Nothing but fan service - “look at Grogu jumping on rocks how cute.”
Please don’t turn Star Wars into Marvel trash with nothing but CGI and fan service.
Early season episodes actually had character development. "LordDirt;c-2333811" wrote:
Funny how so many people didnt like the first few episodes of BoB but once they went full fan service thise people love it. SW is doomed to never progress only show things we already have had for 40 years.
100%. This turn towards making content for the lowest common denominator is worrisome.
Showing Luke in the sequels with flaws and making mistakes is far more interesting.- Nobody seems to mention that Mando has relations to Jawas while Boba is friends with Tusken. Both are Mandalorians but while Mando is doing the "right" things Boba seems to be more of a "I bring peace by ruling you all" guy. I wonder if this will have further development and therefore discord at some point that involves both "sand folks".

Didnt he disintegrate a bunch of Jawas in season 1, which is described as pretty much the most painful death possible?- DrStewartH3 years agoRising Vanguard

Loved seeing Cad Bane, but his coloring seemed a bit off. Also, the voice was close but was missing a quality that the animated version had.
I agree, his face was not a dark enough blue and his nose needed to be a little more pronounced.
However, Cad Bane was my favorite Clone Wars character and nothing can ruin watching him saunter across the desert with that iconic hat and then hear him talk in that gravelly voice. He is more badass in his 5 minutes on screen then Boba has been all season. I'm just praying he lives past the finale. It would be an insult to his character if he only gets 1 full episode and then is killed by the current version of Boba. I'm hoping his appearance drives Boba back to the "dark side"
They did a great job showing how dangerous Cad is by the way Cobb reacted. Earlier Cobb casually gunned down 3 Pykes when it was 4vs1 but when Cad showed up he knew it was going to be bad. "Sithlords_Inc;c-2333899" wrote:

I really enjoyed this episode!
Seeing R2 and Ashoka are always welcome.
I was hoping we would get a clue to who rescued Grogu from Order 66, but I get they want to save that for a bigger moment. Which leads me to believe either Luke or Ashoka will show us that later in Mando. So that means Grogu won't be completely cut off from the Jedi, maybe Luke has a change of heart later on?
The bombing scene seemed strange. I'd have to imagine everyone would be on high alert for the Pyke's by now, especially carrying a bomb shaped object...
As soon as I saw the shoes I knew it was Cad! Bringing him in is really cool! The colour was off, but same with Ashoka there is some challenges going from animated to real life, still looked great though!
I knew the deputy was going to die instead of Cobb. Cad is sending a message and it would be weird to write Cobb off so soon.
The "bomb shaped object" was the exact same item we saw full of credits during the deal with Cobb Vanth breaking it up. So obviously a pretty generic carryall type innocuous object. It was quite the declaration of war from the pykes, I thought.
The silhouette with the hat in the desert said Cad Bane to me.
Oh I musta missed that! But even still, Pyke should raise flags when spotted. It was a great declaration of war.
At first I thought it was the tusken fighter finally coming round, maybe watching it at 2:00am wasn't the best move. - DaarthBrewer3 years agoSeasoned Ace

Turns out Cad Bane was voiced by the same guy from TCW.
I checked IMDB to see who the body was, but I guess it was just CGI. "DaarthBrewer;c-2333941" wrote:

Almost assuredly was someone in a motion capture suit, those heroes just don’t always get IMDB credit- DarthGriff893 years agoNew Veteran

What i went to know witch one does the little guy choose
Pretty sure he'll go with the armor
I'm surprised Luke is continuing the tradition of no attachments
He is not going to go for the armor actually, a few months ago Disney released a Mandalorian Season 3 poster that showed Luke and Grogu training. So we know that he will be in Season 3 training Grogu which proves that he will choose the Lightsaber.
