Bossk is expensive (too expensive?)
His drop rate is oft discussed, and I for one can say it's not encouraging to farm him almost daily for about 3-4 months from 6* and... still be at 6*. I figured no problem whatsoever having him 7* f...

Older characters (all the other BH in the store were released over a year before Bossk, if not at the start of the game) are sold at 50 crystals/shard. Newer ones go at 80/shard.
It has been like this for quite a while, nothing to do with cash grab or raising prices before events.
This, 80 crystals/shard is what I consider the normal price for shards of any relevant character. The only toons who are cheaper than this are ones who have been in the game for so long that they have become less relevant due to power creep. Even Baze still sells for 80 crystals/shard, and he predates Bossk by over a year and is much less useful.
