Can RNG not be REQUIRED for future events? (Unlike Thrawn mythic)

So G12 Thrawn, G12 Vader, G11 Palp, Shore and Deathtrooper is so terrible that it should take 30 tries to get a win and maybe 10 tries to actually get more than 3 turns. Boy I'm just doing everything wrong then if that's my Empire team and my point is invalidated that the choices in how they create difficulty are not fun.
