Can we please have lower tiers for the raid?

My and everyone in my guild of course want to be able to do this raid. However, even the normal difficulty is nearly impossible. I've been at level 80 for a while, and was able to do great damage in the rancor raid. I'm fine with this raid being harder, but it is impossible to complete for any guild not maxed out. I don't want a 7* general kenobi tomorrow, but I'd at least like to be able to do this raid and accomplish more than 3% max health in a day. This also discourages new players because they won't be able to do anything until completely maxed out. I'm fine with a tier that gives 1 stun cuff, but is reasonable to beat, I just want to be able to do damage, and have our guild beat the raid. I'd really like if they could have something easier, so people actually get a chance.

  • I agree, this 'normal' level is crazy hard, about 7 members of our guild have fought and we have done 1% of the first tier, we might actually have it done by Christmas........ Next Year! lol

Come on guys, is this really what you planned?

My guild is thinking that we can nail it down by August
  • My kids were so excited for the new raid. They got destroyed by Grievous, shrugged and are playing Minecraft. Definitely need lower tiers for those who just play for fun.
  • They're not gonna add a lower difficulty because the rancor is meant to help gear you from gears 1-10, and the aat raid is meant to gear you from 10-12. You can do lower tiers of the rancor because it covers more of the game than the aat raid gear wise. I get that it's hard but it's supposed to be hard and the new gear is supposed to be something to work for, not a cake walk like the rancor is
  • @Brandonρ I understand that, but I want to be able to at least do the raid at all, and be able to beat it. I don't care if I get no rewards at all from it, but people want the chance to be able to actually do the raid. They can make the scaling terrible for lower tiers, but at least make something that people can enjoy. We have waited months for this, and it's unfair that most guilds won't be able to do it.
  • Double that. Please add lower tiers :/ our pity guild is not able to finish rancor 7, not to mention aat
  • The reason they need lower tiers isn't strictly based on difficulty, but based on length.

I think we're all of us saying that this is okay from a difficulty standpoint, right? We like a hard fight because we feel like we're actually earning our rewards. That's cool. But the normal version of this raid is probably going to take a minimum of a month for the average guild, and that's not an exaggeration. Three days in and my guild has Greivous down to 85%. This raid isn't fun, it's frustrating and feels like a chore to log in and just get your attacks for the day done so you can go do something else. It's a punch-clock where you just hope you get lucky and do 100k damage in an attack.

Partly this is because my guild is small. There's probably 10 of us that are super-active, and another 15 that are a mixture of casual or undergeared/leveled. Right now someone reading that is rolling their eyes and shouting "GET A BETTER GUILD" at their screen, but here's the thing--You're telling me to throw my real life friends away so I can get some jpgs with a yellow border? You're saying this game should sacrifice community for gear? Yeah, that's dumb. My guild chat is filled with, at best "I wish my Greivous was as good as the raid one" and, at worst--and most frequently--"I hate this." You never want your playerbase to say that.

So, please, consider giving us a 5-star version with reduced HP and damage and a reduced reward. Hell, you can even make it cost more to start this raid. Higher cost and lesser rewards would ensure people won't do the easy version for any longer than the bare minimum to advance to the normal and difficult versions.

Right now I don't feel like there are any tactics for this raid other than to get the meta characters and get crit+ dmg mods with speed and one + mod with tenacity.

Jawas don't feel "clutch" and don't offer the desired droid control I was hoping for and the buff to Jedi just draws out their pathetic lives even longer.

Yup. And the worst part is that because "T6" is the lowest, you need all of your jawas at 6*+. I got my jawas to 4 for the raid, might invest in them if they are good, but now I'm not going for them at all, because it is pointless. Average guilds won't be able to beat this for a month, I just want even an "easy" mode, so I can actually do something
  • @NicWester
I agree. The difficulty is fine for guilds that do tier 7s easily, and is fair for the higher-end ones. However, the vast amount of average ones stand no chance. All the whales and good people in lower guilds might leave so they can do the raid
