If anyone has upgraded ordo, can they please explain to me the ridiculous gear requirements just to get him to gear 8? His gear 7 slots seems best for gear 8, and they’re super hard at that!A carbanti, a stun gun, a stun cuff, a mk5 furnace, and a hypo syringe, all for gear 7 slots. Thankfully I’d saved some of those gears, but still it was pretty silly to me.

Seems like they are missing a lot lately...including my money because of their poop poor actions. A company making millions should try a little harder...they have tools they are not using...

That is just the first response we got to this, along with the general statement that gear pinch point is usually 7-9 or 9-11... that was before we pointed out the issue more as 7 and 8 are identical and brutal. Not just a standard bottleneck.

Let's just wait for a more official statement before looking too far into this scenario.

There was a day in between that first post and the second one, with no one asking for a clarification in between, so I assumed you had received further information today and that was the confirmation.

I'll happily wait for the "more official statement" and look forward to reading how they justify this (frankly, quite poor and player-unfriendly) decision to change the established gear expectation.

Kinda scary though, we already need more stun guns then the average player gets in multiple years, and now we will need even more of them as they are on an even lower tier... Seems like a bad precedent to set to have raid gear required to gear up a toon that low.

Welp, I'll never be gearing him up anyway. Maybe that was their plan all along.
