Is this game supposed to be fun?

I think a huge problem is that once you've used up all of your energy and bought what you can with the available currency you have, there's nothing much else to do until when the next events activate and the refreshes occur. There needs to be something you can do in-game to kill time that doesn't require using energy or waiting around to activate.

A suggestion I made was to include to Sabacc and Pazaak to play while you wait where you could also bet your excess currency and gear. Would be beneficial long-term for both the players and developers / EA.

I feel the same way. I've spent good money on this particular game. And I have not gotten any of the players I paid for. Or for some reason they won't let me get Darth Malak. Because for the last 5 or 6 years I've been trying. And it's gotten so bad. Yes you are absolutely right though. It used to fun.

Fun is a stretch, most of the time. It's supposed to cater to our need to complete collections, without having to fill up our homes with actual junk. For me it does just that. The fun is mostly what happens around the game, not in it -  Discord friends, Forums, Spreadsheets. 

It's a distraction, and something to do while waiting for something better to do.

TBH, my motivation to play is dwindling more and more as the newERA update sets in.

I already gave up when the marquee events were flooding the events board. I can complain until I am blue in the face but doesn't really matter, the only thing that changes is that my roster grows and grows with more 5* incomplete characters.

I consistently upgraded the Conquest pass, that's $20, then I bought the ERA pass, another $20, then to progress the new marquee character to try and be semi competitive, I spent $29 on the Huyang bundle.

At least before all the "passes and marquee" events, I felt value in what I was spending on, relic bundles, Kryos bundles, LS packs, calendars etc.

Now? I am reaching the point now where I don't feel like spending $$  at all.....

I started playing about 4 years ago because even though whales had a clear advantage over f2p, it was still a f2p friendly games. In the past 1.5 - 2 years though it has been moving toward catering trust fund kids who can afford to spend thousands of dollars daily.

I believe that the name calling. Is absolutely wrong. I'm more of a good player who gotten cheated on several times. So I believe Rising Novice is more like Star wars galaxy of heroes.

It's like paying for rent but the thing is I don't get to stay. So tell me how you guy's take our money. And then don't follow through. I've spent lots of money and I have nothing to show for it. Greedy takes our money and then nothing. I have had that done several times from star wars. Like I said you guy's lost my first account which I had paid about 1 hundred dollars on it. Then you guy's lost it. So several years ago I opened a new account and I've had nothing but trouble. I've spent all kinds of money on this new account. Over 4 or 5 Hundred dollars. And I've been playing since you started this game. And now I'm reading and I believe what you say I am. Is definitely you guy's Star wars galaxy of heroes. Rising Novice. Is Star wars.
