every so often CG runs offers where they offer 25% discounts on crystals, the video was probably made when a "sale" was on.... sometimes the price is the same but you get 25% More crystals for same money (I have seen this offer more often)

    That's possible, I don't recall which video showed the crystals or the timestamp.
