Championship Best Rank Achieved - Better division lower rank is NOT better

Long story short, I value my GAC Premiere Rank #2 from Div7 more than my current rank #82 in Div6. Is there going to be change to this or if I'm to go into Div5, get my "Trapped in carbonite", -title ...
