Some players are not joining to GA and they have some points all time.
For example, player ID 994-762-941 no connection since153 days and he is Kyber 5 with 2826 points.
Why system don't remove a quantity of points if players don't join to GA? I think that a lot kyber/aurodium players are not playing.
We would end up with alot of powerful teams in the bottom leagues making it very hard for newish players to win. EA can' let it get too hard for new players..
...so is it better that the entire community loses crystals to inactive players? Consider that if they don't connect, no one from the lower leagues will ever cross paths with these rosters...
Actually, if you join GA you win or lose points , but if you don't join your points are safe, Other example is Hamilton, top 35 Kyber 3.
Do they still get their daily crystals? I thought you could have a certain time of not signing up, then you don't get your daily GAC crystals. Which is probably the best situation, they no longer get their dailys, but don't lose skill points and pollute the lower leagues.
And consider they don’t have the time to play right now and return in a years time and they have dropped without losing? I don’t see an issue, they earned their rank fairly and apart from the top of Kyber 1. This has very little impact on anyone else.
This is the reason why I skip 3v3. Sure, I'll miss out on some crystals from the event, but I lose way more when I actively participate in 3v3.
Those players aren't effecting you unless they join GAC. They don't get rewards. Daily crystals are based on what we used to get everyday in arena before they added them to GAC, but better.
The issue is more with the chromium or bronzium players that get bumped to Kyber 1 top 50 and push everyone who does interact down. That's been going on far too long and should've been fixed, but hasn't been yet. Because they join GAC, they actually are taking crystals from players.
Does that math really add up? Missing 3 weeks of GAC is less than when you participate? Dailies alone, and participation even if you lose every match would be a lot. There is not much crystal difference between divisions, so you would have to perform so badly to sink you to another league for the next season and I am still not sure that’s less. Last season 3v3 I dropped to Aurodium 1 by dipping into K5 in the last match. Not only am I moving up to Kyber this 3v3, I won more matches than I have in a long time even with a 3/3. I believe this gave me a less stressful 5v5 with fewer squads per zones and I do not think I have less crystals as I won more matches and came top in one bracket. I still faced larger opponents but it was more fun and I think crystals was fairly neutral, plus back in Kyber.
I have 2900 points and change and am in Aurodium 2 right now.
something just changed, i was in kyber 5 won my last battle and am now in aurodium 2.
