Immediately and needlessly dismissing the most correct course of action the devs should have taken (and also the one that happens to be the most favorable to the player base) helps to guarantee that it's one the players can't win.
Two of our 14 guilds in the 330m to 470m GP range had a Chieftain at R7. A good chunk had one at relics, but not R7. A handful don't have one at relics, but they are 7*. Dropping under 330m gets significantly worse.
This was a bad decision and we should make it known that this was a bad decision so that any similar changes made in the future will be made in our favor.
