That's not the issue. My r9s struggled.
The issue is that during the original unlock period there was a mechanic where CX could ignore stealth. This allowed you to -- with difficulty -- take out Batcher first, to prevent him from marking CX, then take out Crosshair, and get both done before Crosshairs reached his ultimate.
CX no longer ignores stealth which massively ramps the difficulty. On the attempt I succeeded, Batcher used a basic on his first turn, Crosshairs used a basic on his first turn, then on t2, Batcher marked CX just before my TX Stormtrooper's turn, which allowed me to clear the Mark on CX. Then Crosshairs called an ally with his special, which meant that he didn't remove stacks of Shaken.
And then, for some reason, the BB mostly alternated btw the two toons who had Taunt. Since they were alternating, they didn't pick up stacks of Target Practice, which meant that Crosshair's Shaken stayed high for a very, very long time.
Because of all this, I was -- at r9 -- able to get through wrecker, then Batcher, then Crosshair all before Crosshair ult.
So... it's still possible, technically? But I kept being amazed at how often they switched targets. I really don't know how likely it is to come together for other players like that. Pretty clear that CX needs the ability to ignore taunt of this is going to be a source of endless frustration for players.
