Changes to JMMW event?
It seems like CG has made changes since the last event which are changing the gameplay now. In the videos I've watched from the last event, BB is not stealthed at the battle start if you take the 1s...

Couldnt target anyone else either, and just kept dying. I remodded Scorch (R7)with defense sets and 4 protection mods (All borrowed from my JML), and CX(R7) with a speed set and critical damage triangle, and I got thru tier 1 without too much trouble. Use that same defense set on Depa (R5) and Temple guard (R5) and whizzed thru the event.
The key RNG here is whether Batcher marks CX (he usually does) and where int eh turn order that happens. If Batcher marks someone else or if your Stormtrooper gets a turn right after Batcher to clear the Mark, then you are going to do much better.
The secondary RNG is whether Crosshairs uses his special to call an ally or to reduce Shaken. If he reduces Shaken he's going to get to his ult much quicker, and you can get hosed pretty easily (if CX isn't dead already from Marked).
I had great mods and r9s and getting through t1 was, indeed, full of trouble. It's definitely possible, but mods are not the key factor.
