The majority of the fandom did not. The game is already hemorrhaging players. Adding content from an unpopular series when multiple characters from popular series/games have yet to be added is not the play. Kotor 2, TOR, Republic Commando, Cal Kestis series, Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, etcetera should get their full catalogue in before The Acolyte. I'd be surprised if they didn't dip into Legends content like Forces of Corruption before The Acolyte.
There was immense backlash to the pirate eras last year. I'm honestly surprised CG added The Stranger.
It does not make sense given their current position to do something inherently unpopular. That's more gasoline to the dumpster fire they've started.
