Character release communuty votes

Been pretty disapointed with the chosen character realeases the past few updates so My suggestion is (sometimes) to throw up character names for a couple weeks and develope the most voted character. That way you garuntee a majority of your community is happy with something happening. Even a droideka i garuntee (a tank that we'd all love for droids) would be more prefered than a probe droid. Youve got a plethora of dark side options yet to be released in this game and you choose stark. Dear god. Which im sure the average fan has never even heard of. Nor have i seen one single person on the forums ask for.

If the day comes that i stop playing this game or it fails and im forced to stop. And jango fett hasnt been released yet. Im writing my congressman lol. And hes only the beginning of big names that need to come start coming soon before i rip my hair out.

    They are trying to balance the game with more DS characters. They are going to release a lot, and most likely all of the names no one cares about will be free and your big names with be some sort of P2P characters.

    I would think the only down side to this would be one of two things:
    1- they choice list will be too limited, because they will have to develop the toons first and wouldn't want to put a bunch of time into a toon that isn't going into the game right away.
    2- the wouldn't pre develop the toon and the development cycle would take too long and people would get worked up that the toon they picked isn't in the game soon enough, probably saying "look they dont listen to us"

    but i agree this would be a great way to get the community more involved in the game.

    see # 2. developing all that is involved in a toon doesn't happen overnight. not sure the community would really be able to handle that kind of wait.

    I bet they'd be more willing to wait than to be excited about getting random generic toons that no one asked for
