Character Ships

Greetings!

I have a serious question about game characters ships.
Why Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, a better pilot of the galaxy (as we know from movies) doesn't have a ship in game?
I would like to note that along with this, many minor characters from the Star Wars Universe have such ships. Is it normal?
