Character trove packs

Fair enough, you might be correct.

I think I remember having a 5k crystal pack for recent (single drop) characters, and having a 5k blue pack for any characters.

I think this might be a new concept, and if so, it is nothing short of a scam imo.

But anyway, if it is intended, fair enough, i am not going to buy it, end of story, and nothing to be done about it.

There's a difference between a scam and something that's just bad value. The value of these packs are subjective to the person buying it. These packs aren't for me, but I'm sure there are players out there that will take advantage of them and come out ahead.

THey had 5k crystal packs in the past like this. Thing is, they weren't for ALL light or dark side characters, they were a subset of their choosing. It was about 50% newer toons and 50% older ones. So, in that respect, you had a fighting chance of getting one useful to you. Now? with it being all non-special or GL's, the odds of getting something useful is down towards 5-10%. So, not really useful at all if you aren't in a newer player.

That was a different pack, it was for a choice out of ANY character, rather than focused LS or DS, or perhaps it's a different pack to the two I've seen in my store.

50$ for random accelerated characters sounds awesome

If they only had characters released in the last two years, I would part crystals for it. They did it before and I got 5th Brother? Now? I'm not even remotely interested as there's no Paz Viszla in there.

The ship packs are out now. 45 shards in each one. Leia pack will likely be character shards.
