80*280 = 22400 crystals
280 shards is about 850 node runs at a 33% drop rate.
850*20 = 17000 energy, at 1 crystal per energy is 17000 crystals.
850/5 = 170 node refreshes at 50 crystals a piece is 8500 crystals
So assuming you never get a nest shard from the free energy/attempts, you're looking at 25500 crystals at a 33% drop rate vs 22400 crystals from shipments.
That's a 3100 crystal difference.
Which is funny because it will take you longer to farm, so it should be more from shipments which is "faster". But let's not give them any ideas.
