After a few goes of trying to participate and be active in the raid I've come to the conclusion that it's just really badly thought out and designed and seeing as starting from scratch is not an option there's really nothing that can be done to this raid to make it fun or worthwhile participating in without risking my sanity.
The only plus is the lowered health which allows me to auto and still not leave my guild hanging. That's going to have to do.
