Choosing between TB’s just made the Wampa extinct

There's a concept in ecosystems biology called "functional extinction". This is when there are so few of a particular species left that it is impossible, without artificial interventions, for that species to survive even though there are a few members left who haven't croaked yet.

Wampas are so rare in GW that they'd never find each other to breed. GW certainly doesn't have a useful population for wampa hunting. Heck, I'd probably be sent to prison if I got caught with a pelt from a GW wampa, they're such an endangered species.

Master Seedy breaking out biological terms. I thought about using a cost benefit analysis to show my reasoning for NOT dropping in arena to find Wampas....

Here goes (I am not economist so for give me if this isn’t 100% accurate)

Basically crystals drive the game and are the most important resource in the game (1b zetas 1c Gear 13 finishers) and to give up the amount of crystals to POTENTIALLY find a Wampa or two while hanging out in the 200-500 range for a few weeks while collecting Wampa pelts isn’t worth loosing all the crystals in that time frame. Compound that with the amount of time and crystals refreshes it would take to get back into the top 50.

Did I do that right?

So don't drop in arena. The game doesn't owe you everything. Go back to Hoth. Or give up the quest.

I would like to not give up the 500 contracts I’ve already fulfilled and as far as going back to Hoth....this game is all about resource allocation. If you aren’t chasing Kenobi’s ship you will be behind. If you aren’t farming high end gear you will be behind. This game pushes you towards the newest content which I’m fine with but there has to be a better way to allow you to progress in both areas.

I already read it. Make a choice and do the quests or don't. If you care more about resources than the quests (as I do) then don't do it.

Possible problem with these below, do Geo stars count? You would be right to assume they do but since GeoTB battles don't count towards IG-88...

first minor error IG-88 quest is the 3rd stage not the 4th, since hes the last of the 3 500 payouts needed.

next the stars do count from Geo TB, i started the Jedi knight 3/4 during geonosis, and now have 6/30 progress

GW: NOPE! Been looking for a year. Never simmed one battle. Seen zero wampas. Events: sure, 5 wampas every 6 months. Lower arena: tried that. Dropped to nearly 300, no wampas. Dumb concept in the first place

i haven't seen any either, but i saw a screen shot before of one in node 12, plus plenty of people saying they have seen one once in a blue moon. thus thats where i got my knowledge from, granted dits not anythnig that i could 1000% confirm, but still.

for lower arena you probably need lower then lets say 400 (assuming you were in the top 100s at first) with how prevalent jedi revan is any wampas would have been forced lower from revans team synergy and power
