If CG is serious about making GAC about who's the best, they will eliminate points for advancing leagues from feats. Just have feats give you currency. They will have W/L as the only factor in advancing leagues.
Agree completely. They way it was marketed vs. the reality of what it actually is really did a poor job of setting player expectation and, for me at least, has led to a lot of the disdain for the game mode. Communication failures (specifically around changes to the number of defensive slots) further compounded the "surprise" of what GAC actually was. Too bad, so much potential lost.
