Clearly they think matchmaking is working as intended....

Precisely...... obviously Jarvind didn’t read the original post which focuses on the grossly undervalued gp of toons at g12/g13 which directly effects the outcomes of GAC match making. Was in no way complaining about my or others need to feel like they have an “advantage” over other players, simply that the current matchmaking system could definitely use some tweaking to address the issues I highlighted in the op...... the constructive conversations that directly followed that helped to clarify how I had interpreted the devs posts on the matter.

Just being a pragmatist: Say I were running a business and I sold gold silver and bronze doohickeys. And they are all the same product but the bronze is more affordable and contains some parts that cost less. And then the customer that bought the bronze doohickey came and complained that he faced a guy with a gold and he didnt do as well. What would you do? What would a businessman do?

If it were my business, I would probably respond with "Yeah? Would you like to buy the gold one?"

Seriously though, GP is extremely fair in light of the circumstances given that it is neutral. They simply have no business incentive to make it easier on people with or without certain toons. Nor would I. Nor would you if it were your business. GP is extremely fair and whatever the GP disparity between g12 - g13 is, its "blind." Sometimes that will benefit you and sometimes it won't. But if you get trounced by enough g13s maybe you will have some incentive to upgrade yourself. ;)
