Collecting light side tickets not working

So I had just finished the entire jabba event including unlocking his ultimate. I've been working towards gl leia for a while now and selected her journey event. I'm getting close to unlocking her event but for whatever reason I never recieve light side tickets when I participate in light side battles. What am I doing wrong?
