I think what some people, and quite possibly CG and EA, are missing is that this game is evolving from a casual, quantity-over-quality microtransaction money-grab of a game into something more complex that people are dumping serious hours of their lives into. Right now, the short-term profit model is still being utilized by CG and EA for this game, but if they were really smart and wanted to make even more money, they'd ditch that model. What they need to realize is that there is a dedicated fan base playing this game, many players like myself who enjoy depth in variety, sophistication of strategy, and rich, rewarding pvp gameplay. This game actually has staying power.
The current model of ambiguous hints followed by springing content to induce panic buys is a short-term technique, while it seems to me that many players like me are in it for the long haul. We're going to ride this game out until we've **** the marrow out of every last bone of the SWGOH skeleton. The short-term microtransaction stuff doesn't make us want to come back. We feel disrespected and simply used, while we also feel like we are engaging with a game that is both able to use such a robust universe and cast of characters and creating a complex gaming experience beyond casual screen-tapping. The short-term thinking does not convince people to invest long-term. It's designed to seize profits immediately and then provide something just adequate to the consumer in the here-and-now. No reason it can't change.
Try not to take yourself to seriously. It's a Mobil game it's not sophisticated, it's not rewarding, it's a time sink. Treat it as such.
Ha ok. It is a sophisticated mobile game. For me, it's more than a time sink. If it was just that, I would get bored and move on. We have two different views of the game. And that's ok.

That's all you had to say. Tell me more about how sophisticated it is.
Different strokes for different folks. There isn't one true answer because we re people, we like and dislike a multitude of things. That make One's tastes and preference different from another is not a bad thing but something to be celebrated.
As alliance/guild leader/officer I love to hear everyone's take on things for the exact reason above. I too am in for the long haul and agree panic farms only get so far- but also agree once I stop enjoying this it's time to rethink if it's worth it. I love this game and even more so I love the community and my guilds that truly make this an enjoyable experience for me. Peeps on the forum as trolly and pitch forkie as we can sometimes be, are also super helpful and informative.
