Compromise on battle logs - show points

I've averaged 59 without cheating.

Lots of people average 59. Reporting because people are better at a game adds to a backlog of investigations. I wouldn't be surprised if > 95% of reports are unnecessary and waste time of tracking down legit issues.

59 points per win isn't that crazy. If it were 62+ on every battle I'd be suspicious.

I just averaged 61.5 points against my opponent. Three of their teams were garbage that I was able to score 64 points against, and the other three teams I scored 57, 59, and 61 against.

I would say 59 is about my average, have had a few rounds above 61. This one was a very disappointing 54 :'(

Honestly sad to see that people think you would have to cheat to average 59 banners, which isnt even perfect 5 man teams every time

I doubt that most players who use some secret tactics came up with that on their own. You learned it from someone else, so why can't your opponent learn it from you? And by what logic does it make sense that your moves should be secret from the opponent that you just attacked? I don't know any strategy game that doesn't allow the opponent to see what was done to them and how. There is no guarantee that they can copy it anyway, without putting resources into whatever team or toon you used to do it.

Seems pretty petty to complain about, since battle logs would solve a lot of cheating problems.

In a perfect world battle logs would deffinantly help eradicate cheating. In the real world, any slight discrepancy is gong to be reported (see op) and thats going to let the cheats slide by in the backlog

Why would they get reported when you can replay the entire combat and watch exactly what happened?

Because battle logs are not replays.

There is no reason why they shouldn't be. The log would be like a transcribed chess game, and doing a replay for those who so desire would have minimal impact or cost to the game.
